Frank A. Melaccio is Vice President & Treasurer for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), and is responsible for managing all Treasury functions which includes over $5 billion in corporate and pension investment assets, corporate insurance functions, procurement functions, and all banking and liquidity programs. He is also an adjunct professor of finance at Hofstra University in New York.
Prior to joining Horizon BCBS, Mr. Melaccio worked at EmblemHealth, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and the Bank of New York Mellon. His experience includes building financial models, performing financial analysis, managing and developing investment strategies, portfolio management, treasury management, and risk management. Mr. Melaccio graduated from Hofstra Unversity’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business with an MBA in Finance in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Fordham University in 2003. He has three professional designations: CFA, CPA and a FRM.
