Dr. Rama Seth earned her PhD at Columbia University in New York City, and has served at leading international policy-making bodies such as the Federal Reserve Bank, The World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Bank for International Settlements, and United Nations, before returning to India and taking up a professorship at IIM Calcutta.
She is currently Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School. Dr. Seth has published in over 30 reviewed journal publications and 13 book chapters. Several of her articles have appeared in national news media. She has presented papers at most of the premier international conferences, and organized seminars and workshops. She has shown strong mentorship through supervision and placement of PhD candidates, and supervision of several bachelors and masters students.
Prof. Seth was placed among the top 50 Women in Education Leaders in 2018, and Outstanding Woman Researcher of the Year in 2019, and India’s Top 100 Women in Finance, 2020.
